What sizes do your kids dungarees come in?
Our kids dungarees come in 11 sizes, from 6–12m all the way up to 9–10y. Every size has the same Dotty details, so your little one can stay in their favourite style as they grow. You'll find the full measurements in our Size Guide.
Do Dotty Dungarees come up big or small?
On the whole, our clothes are on the bigger side, with classic unisex cuts and generous sizing. If your little one is very little for their age, we recommend sizing down. If you're unsure, compare their height with our Size Guide.
How do I measure my child for dungarees?
The easiest guide is your child's height. As a rough guide, our 2–3y fits around 98cm, 4–5y around 112cm and 9–10y around 140cm. The dungarees waist runs from 59cm (6–12m) to 75cm (9–10y). The full chart is on our Size Guide page (all measurements in cm).
How long will a pair last?
Our dungarees are designed to grow with your child. Adjustable straps and generous turn-ups can be let down as they grow (our chunky cords even have double fasteners), so they last the whole year rather than needing replacing every 3-4 months. They're made to be worn, loved and passed down to siblings and friends.
What's the difference between corduroy, chunky cord and denim dungarees?
Our classic corduroy is a super soft needlepoint cord, mostly cotton with a touch of elastane for stretch. Chunky cord has a bolder, chunkier rib and the same soft, stretchy cotton-rich blend, making it a cosy autumn and winter favourite. Our denim is 99.8% cotton and 0.2% elastane, super comfy yet durable. For warmer days, our seersucker styles are lightweight and breathable.
What are they lined with?
Every pair of Dotty dungarees is lined in 100% combed cotton jersey, so they're as soft inside as they are outside. Some of our little customers even fall asleep in them!
Is there a zip for nappy changes?
Yes. Sizes up to 18–24m have a hidden zip between the legs for quick, easy nappy changes without taking the dungarees off. From 2–3y upwards the zip isn't included.
How do I wash them?
All Dotty Dungarees clothes are machine washable up to 30 degrees.
What if a buckle breaks?
All our dungarees come with a lifetime warranty on the buckles. If a buckle ever breaks, just get in touch at hello@dottydungarees.com and we'll send you a free replacement.
What do I need to know about delivery and returns?
UK Royal Mail Standard Delivery takes 2–3 business days and costs £4.99, and it's free on orders of £50 and over. International delivery is £30. Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt, unworn and unwashed with tags attached; after that, returns are refunded as store credit. Return postage is paid by the customer.
