So here are our top days out with the kids over the holidays:

  1. Beaulieu Adventure Cinema
We thought we would start our list of the best days out with the kids with somewhere close to home, in beautiful Beaulieu.

Beaulieu is situated in the picturesque New Forest and has many fun adventures for children with its Motor Museum and pretty grounds. This bank holiday weekend, Beaulieu are putting on some classic films with their outdoor cinema. From musicals Mamma Mia, and Encanto, to classics Top Gun: Maverick, and Back to the Future, an outdoor cinema is always a fun day out with the kids.

Bring a picnic blanket and some film snacks for the ultimate family evening out. Or go VIP with tickets that include deck chairs in a prime position! There will also be food stalls in the evening.

Looking for something to do beforehand? Come and say hello in our Lymington shop! We will be open from 10am - 4pm on Bank Holiday Monday. There are also lots of great cafes and coffee shops on Lymington High Street, which is about 15mins drive from Beaulieu.

  1. New Forest Water Park
Looking for a wilder adventure to enjoy the sunny weather? The New Forest Water Park is perfect for days out with the kids.

With lots of adventures to be had including wakeboarding, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, open water swimming, and lots of fun water-based obstacle courses, this is definitely for the more adventurous family!

You can even camp here if you want to spend longer than a day trip here. Any children under 11yrs old do need to be accompanied by an adult, and everyone needs to be able to swim to take part in the activities.

We think it’s the perfect day trip to cool down in warm weather.

  1. Celebrate bees at Charlecote Park, Warwickshire
Now for one of our more sedate day trips with the kids, visit the National Trust property of Charlecote Park in Warwickshire.
