Here at Dotty Dungarees, we love doing things differently and bringing fun and colour into people’s lives, and perhaps a bit of mischief too! So when we discovered that our Saturday girls in our Lymington High Street Dotty store are studying art, we couldn’t wait to let them help us transform our little shop.

 

We never expected such an incredible response to our Lymington High Street shop! People have been absolutely loving our window design. The original was painted by our artist friend Ming Fraser who did a fab job of transforming our little shop and brightening up Lymington High Street.

 

 

 

So we couldn’t wait to create another masterpiece on Lymington High Street as Spring approaches...

 

    

    

 

Armed with an array of coloured paint pens, and some cute props, our talented Saturday team got to work transforming our shop window at the weekend. And boy, did Lymington High Street locals come and help support us!

 

  

 

Local photographer, Andrew was the first to capture some incredible photographs of the transformation and shared on his social channels @andrewjbphotography. We also had lovely staff from Waterstones come to help us out too! 

 

It took 8 hours on Saturday, and an additional few hours on Sunday to finish the piece but eventually it was complete. We could not be happier! It has really brightened up the dark January days.

All in all, we have been bowled over by the amount of support here in Lymington High Street. From our lovely neighbours, womenswear fashion brand Stanwells, and coffee shop Cornish Bakery who have been keeping our team functioning with their excellent coffee. We joke that it is our second home away from the shop. Often we hold team catch ups and lots of new ideas are born here!

 

To the kind and friendly Lymington locals who are always happy to help. We are grateful for all the support and love we have received since our arrival in Lymington High Street in December 2022.

 

Many, many thanks to our Saturday super team, Ella, Sophie, and Phoebe, who not only designed the window, but spent many hours perfecting it, in front of a captive audience we might add! Well done girls, it really looks amazing! Great additions to our little Dotty team.
